Nature always inspires me. I usually paint what I can see in the old park surrounding my art studio, in the neighbourhood or what grows in my garden. Therefore, I have painted numerous landscapes with trees in all seasons, flowers, backroads, interesting buildings and wildflower fields and meadows. I love painting old barns!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The user-friendly acrylic paint allows creating anything we can imagine or visualize on our canvas. I do also painting demonstrations and such paintings get finished up and brought to conclusion with many layers of paint. I sometimes create textures on my canvas at first and then add layers of paint on top of textures. They are at least 24 x 18″ and up to 34 x 40″.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acrylic painting classes take place on Saturdays 11.30-1.00 pm and watercolor on Sundays 11.30-1.00 pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My painting classes teach numerous aspects of drawing and painting which you cannot learn using online tutorials or attending art entertainment events, like paint nights. We learn making our own decisions, using our own colors and applying our own composition. We first become technically advanced and then, we can add emotional aspects to out art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observational drawing is my strength since I come from background where no photos and cameras were available or used. Therefore, I draw absolutely effortlessly and pretty much anything. I prefer setting up real things because that’s the best way to draw for me. No need for any devices or cameras. My drawings are large, most often 24 x 18 inches or 61 x 46 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watercolor paintings are a big part of art I have created. Before painting, I sketch and do value sketches, as well as quite detailed drawings. They can be used as stand-alone artworks or elaborated in color and used as reference for different medium. I love color, therefore, I frequently turn drawings into paintings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watercolor has some very special features which are present only in this medium. I paint watercolor without masking fluid. I want my watercolor art to be mastery of water and pigment application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
